Flexible work
We know how important it is for our employees to strike a balance between their work and personal lives.
Various technological innovations, from laptops, wireless phones and Internet access to e-mail, combined with Accenture’s serious commitment to flexibility in the workplace, allow us to offer our people a flexible approach —giving them options as to how and where they do their work.
Work arrangements
Flexible working arrangements
must be driven by a business need and are determined in each country to take into account local practice, culture and law. Currently, Accenture has flexible work arrangements—–such as flex time, part-time, job sharing, telecommuting/home working—in more than 30 countries around the world.
Working away from home location
Work/life balance is also an issue where significant professional travel is involved, which is often the case for many of our consulting people. Fly-backs and client-site flexible work arrangements help our professionals balance work and life when they are
working away from their home location
.
Video conferencing
Accenture is striving to reduce the amount of travel required by our employees by rolling out a variety of video-conferencing technologies such as Telepresence, a ‘like being there’ video conference solution, and RoundTable, a 360-degree visual conferencing tool, that help to connect face-to-face with remote teams in real-time.
