Accenture has once again been awarded top honors in the “Best Workplaces in Finland,” study for 2010. This marks the fourth year in a row Accenture Finland won in the category of best large company. What’s especially remarkable about this year’s win is that this is the first time in the history of the study that a Finnish company has achieved top honors so many consecutive years.
Conducted by the Great Place to Work Institute, this annual study surveys people from across Finland, measuring who is most satisfied with their employers. Of the winning attributes of cited by people who work here: The work is meaningful, and employees feel their contributions count, making a real difference in client outcomes. The atmosphere was noted as being “friendly” and “supportive”—another big reason why employees gave the company top scores.
According to HR lead, Hanna Reijonen, “Winning four years in a row is incredibly rewarding. It means we’re getting things right. And we’ll keep striving to be even better in years to come.” Accenture first participated in the study in order to uncover areas for improvement. And results from 2010 will help lay the foundations for an even better work environment in 2011.
