My higher education began at the Engineering College of Copenhagen (Ingeniørhøjskolen I København) where I received a Bachelor’s degree in information and communication technology. My final thesis focused on an Accenture Technology Solutions (ATS) project.

Accenture and Accenture Technology Solutions (where I work) were unknown to me and then in school I found information about the company and decided to apply for doing my final thesis and school practice there. After that experience, I couldn’t imagine leaving the company! There were so many challenges presented during the assignment—and really terrific colleagues to work with. I didn’t even apply anywhere else and luckily got the job at ATS!

First of all I always manage to get varied and challenging job assignments. There is so much work to be done at ATS that there are always new career paths to explore. And then there’s the people, of course, many of whom I count as personal friends as well as colleagues. There’s a great balance here between challenging work and fun at work. It feels good to know that I’ve built this strong network of friends and colleagues in Denmark and around the world.

Right now I’m busy with web applications based in SAP and Java. Along with a group of ten other teammates, we’ve created an internal web-based business system. We’ve also developed a CMS system for the customer so that they can build and maintain their own external web page. During this project—which is reaching its second year—I’ve had different rolls: developer, technical designer, product tester and team lead.
